Our counselling sessions provide a safe, confidential, and judgement-free space where you are invited to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My role is to listen carefully, ask gentle questions to help you reflect more deeply, and work collaboratively with you to explore patterns, challenges, and possible ways forward. There is no pressure to have all the answers — together, we will focus on understanding your experiences, developing strategies that work for you, building the confidence to make positive changes, and helping you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-belief.

I am Liesl – and I’m here to truly listen and support you.
As a wife and mother, I’ve had the privilege of living amongst and building meaningful connections with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, both locally and within international expatriate communities. These experiences have shaped the way I understand people, relationships, and the many different ways we navigate life’s challenges.
I offer online counselling to clients internationally, primarily in English, but am also able to converse in Afrikaans. As a qualified Specialist Wellness Counsellor registered with the ASCHP, I hold an Honours Degree in Psychology (cum laude) and am registered as a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. Additionally, I have experience in play-based interventions and am currently specialising in body-based trauma healing.
I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s more difficult moments. Through a blend of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and personalised support, I aim to help you better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build the resilience needed to move forward with confidence and clarity. My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and a deep belief in the human capacity for growth and healing.
